A "Grandpa Charlie" Breakfast

Today I decided to make my youngest two and I a "Grandpa Charlie" breakfast. Both of my grandparents died before my children were born so I try to share with them a little of the family history when I can.

Todays sharing involved making them the breakfast that I remember Grandpa Charlie eating every morning: Oatmeal, toast, coffee and soft boiled eggs.

I began the breakfast with the same blessing for the food that Grandpa always said:

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Ps 145:15-16

I told them stories of Grandpa Charlie that I remembered while we enjoyed our breakfast!
