Top 5 Things You Never Expected to Hear Someone Say

This morning we all went to Immigration to pick up our visas. We're driving along the Corredor Sur (with the Pacific Ocean to our left) when I say, "Would you look at the size of that ship!" (to my credit, I did say "ship" and not "boat"). Unexpectedly, Tim chimes in: "That's the Queen Mary II!"

I never really thought that one day, out of the blue, someone would say to me "Look! It's the Queen Mary II!" If one of those silly internet quizzes was called Top 5 Things You Never Expected to Hear Someone Say, this one would rank right after "I dub thee, Sir Gary of Brown's Valley..." Absolutely amazing! Almost as the surprising as the time that first-grader Timmy and I were waiting for a bus in Mexico City outside the Auditorio Nacional, and Ricky Martin (back when he had Fabio-hair) hopped out of a limo, walked right past us, stopping only to kiss a girl in the crowd (who shrieked and fainted).

But I digress... The QM2 is too large to pass throught the Panama Canal. On it's southward trek it had stopped in Colon on the Atlantic/Caribe side of Panama, and now it's just come up from going around all of South America.

Since we don't usually take our camera with us to the Immigration Office, here is someone elses photo of the QM2-
