On the Equator

Just a few weeks ago, I got an email with one of those "last minute fares" . . . Ecuador, $159 RT!

I couldn't pass it up! I'd never been to South America before, and I wanted to visit Nelson, who used to be in our church here in Panamá. I visited the Quito area and later southern Ecuador near Guayaquil.

Here we are on the Equator line. I am in the southern hemisphere while Nelson is in the northern hemisphere!
