Pastor Juan, his wife and their 4 kids have been missionaries in El Salvador for the last 7 years. They've only been here in Panama for less than 2 weeks now. They came from El Salvador by bus, and could only bring what fit into their luggage! Everything else was sold or given away.
Since they still don't have propane tanks yet, the family will be coming over here for supper right before church (they weren't able to come over last night). It's been great having them all in church and we're going to miss them once they start having their own services (of course we'll be over there all the time for revivals and outreach). Abisai, Judah and Josue, the 3 oldest boys, have their own band called Anastasis, and they're good.

Since they've got a great band and we've got a great drama team... (sounds like an old Reece's Peanut Butter Cup commercial) we'll be putting on a concert this Saturday at church. Since our bands and drama teams only do skits and music with an overt evangelistic message, we'll be outreaching the area this Friday.

On a sour note, it looks like it's not the car battery, but more likely the alternator or the regulator. Good thing about those sloping parking spots...
