Burning Trees!

We took the tree down today . . . it made it to Christmas . . . just! However, we're skipping the Panama tradition of burning our tree on Jan. 6th. Seriously . . . those Christmas trees REALLY burn!

Poor Katie! We got her a computer desk for Christmas . . . and then her computer's power supply and motherboard sparked, hissed and gave up the ghost! Katie was soooo excited about her desk...we'll just have to get her computer fixed for her . . . she uses it a lot for her school work. She's doing (along with her regular school work) an online two year program.

We had turkey tonight! After already having ham, I couldn't believe it: they were selling turkey pieces at the store today (I guess they cut up the Butterball turkeys that didn't sell by Christmas) . . . so I bought three big thighs (our favorite piece) and baked them. They came out juicy and tasty, along with stuffing, whipped potatoes, gravy, corn, and cranberry sauce on the side!
