We had a quiet but nice Christmas Eve here. I grilled some steaks for dinner and then did a few fireworks (some pretty wild ones at that), as is the custom here. At mid-night there were some nice big ones being shot off in the area that we could see outside. Earlier -yesterday- Toby got a hold of a gift of Gary's and opened it...didn't do any damage. It was funny though, because Katie takes the gift from Toby and then she hears some crunching...he was eating a candycane! He had gotten it off the tree! Ha! Gary and Katie did go out for a bit early in the evening and took somes gifts to our two main couples in ministry.
I've bought a ham (a smoked picnic ham) - but I confess that I'm not really sure what to do with it- I don't think I've ever made one before (if I have I don't remember it). It should be interesting to see what I figure out to do with it.
