Had a good day here. It's been hot, but we've been having rain on occasion (which is very strange for this time of year). Toby has been a bad boy today. He destroyed the bottom screen on the front door. I'm going to change his name to Destructo! Grrrr... If it wasn't for Gary Jr., I'd have gotten rid of him already... I really am not a dog person I'm afraid. And he and the cats still hate each other. Though it's become more of a sparring thing between them now. The cats will sit on his kennel and tease him when he's locked up, and Toby will chase them down whenever he's out and gets the chance! Amazing how fast FAT Mitzi can run!
Whipped up some homemade waffles for breakfast, and later just a simple supper of migas (fried tortilla strips, eggs, cheese and salsa). I decided to go ahead and make some German potato salad and fried chicken for lunch tomorrow. I hate cooking on Sundays, so tomorrow I'll just get to come home from church and relax and eat, which will be nice.
